Problem:
Currently, navigating the commit history (
/commits/main) in large repositories is difficult when looking for specific changes. The only filtering options are by author or path, but there is no way to search for commit messages by keyword without cloning the repo and usinggit log.Proposed Solution:
Add a search bar to the Commits view that allows users to filter the list by commit message content.
Benefit:
This would significantly improve the usability of the GitHub UI for reviewing project history and finding specific changes.
