The payout appears as completed, but I have not yet received any funds in my bank account. I already submitted a support ticket to my bank, and they informed me that GitHub need to provide the transaction ID so they can track the transaction in the system used to track domestic transactions in my country. I have already verified my account number with my bank and confirmed that it matches the one I entered in Stripe.

In my Dashboard, the payout appears as it was paid on Dec 19 and completed on Dec 22, but I have no transactions between these dates on my bank account.

This situation can definitely be confusing, but it’s not uncommon with bank payouts.

Even though the payout shows as completed in the GitHub/Stripe dashboard, that status usually means the funds have left Stripe’s system, not that they’ve necessarily settled in your bank account yet. Depending on your country and banking system, it can take a few additional business days for the transfer to appear.

A few important points:

The transaction ID your bank is asking for is typically a Stripe transfer or payout ID, not something generated by the bank itself.

You should be able to find this ID in the Stripe dashboard payout details (often labeled as Payout ID, Transfer ID, or Trace ID).

If that ID is not visible to you, GitHub Support is the right party to request it from, since they manage the Stripe account on your behalf.

Next steps I’d recommend:

Reply to your GitHub Support ticket and explicitly request the Stripe payout / transaction ID for that specific payout.

Share that ID with your bank so they can trace the transaction in their domestic payment system.

Allow a few extra business days, especially if the payout crossed weekends or holidays.

If the payout still doesn’t appear after that and your bank confirms they can’t locate it using the transaction ID, GitHub Support will need to escalate it with Stripe.

As I stated before, I already shared the ID from my Stripe account to my bank, and they told me that ID doesn't work for me. I need the specific bank ID (from the sender bank aka the Partner of GitHub) to track the transaction on my country. This is the equivalent to tracking an ACH transaction.

I already sent a ticket, but there wasn't a specific option to "Payout" only for me "making payments". So yes, I hope they answer soon. Because as far as I see, there's a lot of people having issues with the payout system of GitHub.
